hej då...part two

another two weeks have already passed and it's once again time to move on.
we will leave dear rosenhills for a different kind of place called urnatur which is a four hour bus ride south. maybe it will be warmer there?

but really, rosenhills has been great. it was so nice to meet so many great people who made it a fun and enjoyable experience. emilia, lars, and family really have created something special and i hope to some day return to wwoof again. maybe in the fall when the apple trees are fruiting???hm?hm?

and i really feel like i've learn lots as well. such as how to be open to other's suggestions (something i never liked doing before). or how weeds - dandelions - can be made into a delicious dish (just fry those flowers up with some oil and salt and you've got yourself a main course!). as well as learning how to properly severe rhubarb (pull it, don't cut it) so that it keep on growing/giving. but most importantly, i've learned how to master the weed whacker (use your hips and move in circles) and discovered a new passion. perhaps i'll go door to door and whack your weeds?

but the people have made it something special, something that even if i do again return, won't ever be the same. there are many quirks of rosenhills i'll dearly miss...

and on our last day here, we of course, were not even here! instead we took a free day, for a last day, in stockholm. we ate sandwiches, walked in parks and visited the nordiska museum. it was pretty pleasant. then we arrived back just in time for dinner, some new wwoofers (two are from FLA - gainsville), and some good ol' soccer amongst mosquitoes.
